Luis Otero has been working in music professionally since 1997. He has worked with such artists as Michael Rose, Cocoa Tea, Keyshia Cole, Cool and Dre, DJ Khalid, Janet Jackson, Ace Hood, Little Mama, Poe Boy, Charlie Solana, DJ Greg "Stryke" Chin, Ralph Falcon (Murk), and many others. Luis has worked in such studios as Hit Factory Miami, Circle House Studios, Studio Center, Markee Studios, and Vaquish Studios. Luis Otero opened up Midnight Mastering Studios in 2017 and has been in the mastering business since.
Carlos Marin is a composer, producer, and sound designer with experience in different audiovisual projects. Winner of various scoring competitions, he currently works as a freelance composer and producer for different artists and film makers in South Florida and South America. He has a Bachelors in Music with emphasis in Commercial Music Composition from Florida Atlantic University and studies in Concert Composition from the National Conservatory of Colombia. Carlos combines traditional classical and commercial music with electronic manipulation and sound design. He is a long time pedagog, and has worked in documentaries, audiobooks, short films, and immersive audio sound design; as well as commercial production. His fascination with signal processing has helped him develop skills in sound design and audio reshaping. Recently, he has joined the team at Midnight Mastering as an assistant to senior engineer Luis Otero.
